First launched in 2015 and refreshed in 2025, the annual RNA Romance Industry Awards (RIAs) celebrate the professionals who help champion, publish and promote romantic fiction across the UK publishing industry. The Editor of the Year category recognises editors who work on traditionally or independently published romantic fiction, embracing the genre while supporting and guiding authors to bring out the very best in their writing.
Great editing is about so much more than what ends up on the page. It’s about understanding an author’s vision, recognising what makes a story special, and helping them bring out the very best in their work. Throughout her publishing career, Laura has championed brilliant storytellers, built lasting relationships with authors and helped bring countless unforgettable stories to readers. Her passion for fiction, editorial expertise and genuine care for the authors she works with are at the heart of everything we do at Pellerin Books.
We’re incredibly proud to see her recognised by the Romantic Novelists’ Association, alongside so many talented colleagues across the industry.
Huge congratulations, Laura!
