The Drum Awards are among the most respected international awards in the creative industries, celebrating outstanding work across advertising, design, digital, media, PR, social, content and more.
The awards attract entries from major international organisations, with 2026 finalists across the wider programme including Adobe, IKEA, Meta, Coca-Cola and BMW MINI, among many others.
The Pellerin Dashboard has been named a finalist in the Digital Product / Platform Experience category, alongside entries including TIME magazine and ŌURA.
For an independent publishing start-up founded in 2026, being recognised alongside organisations of this scale is an extraordinary achievement. But more importantly, it demonstrates that innovation developed within publishing can compete with digital products and experiences from across the wider creative and technology industries.
When we founded Pellerin Books, one of our ambitions was to rethink the relationship between publisher and author by creating greater transparency, shared understanding and more informed collaboration.
We believe authors should have meaningful, timely access to information about their books and their publishing careers.
That’s why we built the Pellerin Dashboard: a bespoke digital platform giving our authors near real-time visibility of their sales, marketing, advertising, royalties, production updates and publishing assets, all in one connected experience.
Rather than waiting for reports or piecing together information from multiple sources, our authors can explore their publishing performance whenever they want.
But the real innovation isn’t simply bringing that information together. It’s how the Dashboard layers commercial data to provide context, helping authors understand the relationships between marketing activity, sales performance and wider publishing decisions.
It’s about moving beyond reporting to create a more transparent and collaborative publishing experience.
Developed under the leadership of our COO and Co-Founder, Jessie Sullivan, the Dashboard was designed around the questions authors naturally ask about their books.
How are my books performing? What marketing activity is taking place? How does that activity relate to sales? What’s happening next in the publishing process?
By bringing this information together in one intuitive platform, we’re helping authors develop a clearer understanding of their publishing business and enabling more informed conversations about their books and careers.
The response has been incredibly encouraging. Since launch, 100% of eligible authors have activated their accounts, with 94% returning weekly.
The Dashboard has also become an important part of our proposition to prospective authors, helping us attract established bestselling writers who value transparency, innovation and a genuinely collaborative publishing partnership.
Commenting on the recognition, Jessie Sullivan said:
“When we founded Pellerin, we wanted to challenge ourselves to think differently about what the publishing experience could look like for authors. The Dashboard came from a simple belief that authors should have access to meaningful, timely information about their books, and that greater transparency creates stronger publishing partnerships.
To have something we’ve built as a publishing start-up recognised alongside digital products from organisations such as TIME magazine is extraordinary. For us, it’s a huge achievement, but it’s also an exciting moment for publishing – proof that our industry has ideas and innovations that deserve recognition on the international stage.
There’s enormous potential for publishers to use technology not simply to improve internal processes, but to create genuinely better experiences for authors. We’re incredibly proud that something we’ve developed with that ambition is receiving international recognition.”
We’re delighted to see our approach to author experience recognised beyond the publishing industry, and incredibly proud to be named finalists alongside such impressive company.
The Pellerin Dashboard isn’t just redefining what authors can see. It’s redefining what they should expect from their publisher.
The winners of The Drum Awards Festival 2026 will be announced between 30 November and 3 December in London.
