Pellerin Books acquires four titles from romance author Zoe Allison
Pellerin Books has announced the acquisition of two new spicy Scottish Christmas romances alongside two backlist titles from author Zoe Allison.
Peyton Stableford, Commissioning Editor at Pellerin Books, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, in the four books from Hannah Todd at Janklow & Nesbit. The titles will be published in eBook, Audio, and Paperback formats starting from October 2026.
The deal kicks off with The Christmas Competition, a high-spirited, dual-POV holiday romcom where rival neighbours butt heads in a fierce battle for first place in their neighbourhood’s Christmas house-decorating contest. Aimed at fans of B.K. Borison, Lindsey Kelk, and Catherine Walsh, the story promises romantic tension, hot-chocolate dates, and snowman making against a cosy Scottish backdrop.
“The Christmas Competition is everything you could want from a Christmas romcom: genuinely funny and utterly sexy, featuring a swoonworthy and slightly misunderstood MMC, an endearing and relatably imperfect FMC, adorable animals including a three-legged cat, hot-chocolate dates and snowman making,” said Peyton Stableford. “And all set in cosy, snowy Scotland. Zoe Allison brings such a depth to her characters that you feel like you’re falling in love right alongside them – and I know readers will be head over heels for her future romance novels, too.”
Pellerin Books will publish a second Christmas romance from Allison in 2027, featuring the same wintry Scottish setting, as well as re-releasing two of her previously published romances in summer 2027.
“I’m super excited to be working with Pellerin,” Zoe Allison commented. “I was both impressed and inspired by their ethos and I’m delighted that I get to work with them not only on future titles but also in re-energising my backlist.”
Agent Hannah Todd added: “I am delighted that Zoe Allison’s new Christmas romances, and her summer rereleases, will be coming soon with Pellerin Books. Zoe and I really appreciate their transparent approach to publishing and we’re excited at the prospect of growing her readership!”
