The Amy Rowlings Mysteries are a Golden Age-inspired cozy crime series following a sharp-witted, movie-buff amateur sleuth in 1930s Kent. Teaming up with Inspector Bodkin, Amy uses her local insight and love of detective fiction to outthink traditional police tactics and unravel twisty mysteries that by-the-book investigation alone can’t solve – all while a charming, slow-burn romance develops between the budding partners in crime-solving.
T. A. Belshaw is a writer from Derbyshire. To date, the Amy Rowlings Mysteries have sold over 10,000 copies and accrued over 5 million page reads through Kindle Unlimited. The most recent in the series, Encore for Murder, was shortlisted for the 2026 Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Romantic Thriller Award.
Pellerin Books will republish the first six books in the series in October 2026, followed by two brand new mysteries led by Amy Rowlings in Spring and Autumn 2027.
Peyton Stableford said: ‘As a certified fan of the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, I’m always looking for contemporary writers who can evoke the same spirit – and T.A. Belshaw’s creation of Amy Rowlings fits that bill so perfectly. With a bit of added humour and a dash of romance, this cosy mystery series is a rollicking good time from start to finish, and I can’t wait for more readers to meet their new favourite amateur sleuth in Amy.’
T. A. Belshaw said: ‘I’m thrilled that Amy Rowlings has found a new home with Pellerin Books. Their passion for Golden Age crime fiction and their commitment to supporting authors made the decision an easy one. They understand Amy, her world, and the spirit of the series, and I’m delighted to be working with a team who share that vision. I’m looking forward to developing the next stage of Amy’s journey with them.’
